This is the part of Guadalajara that feels most familiar to a visitor from the US: new residential towers with hotel-grade amenities (pool, gym, 24/7 security), steps from the Andares mall — Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Tiffany & Co. — and a dense cluster of international restaurants.
